Kaş is one of the most beautiful towns on the Western Mediterranean coastline. It is located on the farthest point — on the south - of the Teke peninsula, which was known as Lycia in the antique period. The peninsula faces the famous Meis Island of Greece. Lycia is one of the oldest civilizations of the West Anatolia and its history goes back to 3000 B.C. The peninsula, on which the ancient civilization was established, is surrounded by the Taurus Mountains. The coastline, known as the Turkish Riviera or the Turquoise Coast, has a wavy, rocky structure that includes several bays and historic harbors. The historic remnants found in EInnali, indicate that the existence of humans back to the Chalcolithic Age and the Bronze Age.
